Fleece flowers

After cutting out the fleece for my dad's throw I had some strips of the edging left with the blanket stitched edges. So I decided to have a go at making fleece flowers. It was harder than I expected I'll have to look out a tutorial and see if maybe there is an easier way.
Here are my first attempts, I'm going to glue them onto brooch backs to go on bags/tops/jackets.
How do they look??
