Christmas presents

Hi everyone.

Sorry for a very extended absence but I was losing my battle with fibromyalgia and needed to take some time to take care of myself. I've had to give up the business as it was too much pressure on me and I couldn't work enough hours to break even so seemed the sensible option. The upside of this is that I now have time to actually make things for me and for gifts so I'm ok with it.

Plus I'm now in year 3 of my patchwork and quilting course so things are getting more complicated and time consuming and it's nice to not be rushing them.

I've got loads and loads to show you so let's start with this lovely quilted picture I've made for hubby's birthday (boxing day). It's a surprise so hope he likes it.

Here is a link to the website whose pattern it is. The link is to the kit which includes everything but the wadding but I bought just the pattern at a local quilt festival.  It's a great size for using up scraps and I'll definitely be making it again.
