Today I'm introdcucing a very clever friend of mine, the lovely Lyn from JJ's Craftshop! I have quite a few of Lyn's items and have bought some as gifts too and the quality is second to none!
Tell us a little about yourself
I am a stay at home mum of two boys, I have always loved making and creating things for family and friends which proved very popular and then someone suggested I start selling my creations and JJ's Craftshop was born so to speak.
JJ's is named after my two sons, Jordan and Joshua x
What do you create ?
Our main product is Wooden Plaques and keepsakes that can be personalised for any occasions, we also make handpainted Glassware and plates.
It is something that I have always enjoyed to do and it is something that works around my family.
I started as a seller on Ebay then decieded to open up my own website.
What mistakes have you made or lessons have you learnt?
I think you learn as you go, I know I certainly have. I also think you have to have confidence in your items I know in the beginning I found it hard to have confidence but the feedback that I have gotten over the years from customers has certainly helped with that
I love making gifts for Weddings and also I do enjoy making gifts for girls, having two boys myself everything tends to be blue so I love getting a chance to work with sparkly colours and glitters!
