Trip to fabric warehouse!

Well I finally made it to the fabric warehouse this lunchtime! wow I was in heaven!!! I was remarkably restrained but did come home with a few lovely things:

5m of cream cotton, similar to dropcloth material. This is going to be the backing for the quilt in my sewing room which doubles on occasions as a guest room. It will also be the curtains in there too.

This lovely welsh flag fabric - perfect for st david's day march 1st

This lovely alphabet fabric for making pram quilts backed with this lovely fleece that I bought at Malvern quilt show in October:

I found 2m of this lovely thick fabric in the remnant bin - perfect for some shopping bags

This lovely supersoft fleece for baby blankets, I've got some lovely pink fleece that will be perfect for backing

And this stunning Amy Butler fabric that I treated myself to 1/2m of to make a new camera and camera strap cover out of. I adore Amy Butler but they are a bit too expensive for me normally.

Looking forward to getting some sewing done this week as it's school holidays.

My Favourite Linky Parties. I try and link up to the majority of these parties most weeks:

  1. what lovely fabrics! i wish we had something like that around here! I have to order mostly on line which adds to the price of the fabric making it more expensive! And I truly love the fleece! It appeals to the hippy in me! I would love a lap rug made in that!
