Christmas in February

I decided to have this month's rudolph day early as the 25th this month falls during half term and I don't always get much of a chance to craft during the holidays as I have Damian off on holiday (he's a teacher) and also Sam off from school too.
I bought these wooden items back just after Christmas on sale at Hobbycraft.
The left hand one is just an ornament it needs a few finishing touches like mini bows on the top of the presents and some glitter on the tree - what's Christmas without sparkle after all!
The right had one is a spring clip with the same rudolph on either side and a spring joining it to the base. Great for holding cards or photos. All that one needs is a red glitter nose and finishing touches to the scarf,

This hanging decoration I love! As with the others rudolph needs some glitter on his nose and his scarf finishing off and the tree needs a few more sparkly ornaments
The problem area is the middle panel! Do I:
a. Decorate it so I am selling a finished item with Merry Christmas etc on the plaque
b. Decorate it with a Christmas background and offer optional personalisation
c. Leave it plain and offer personalisation of names of kids, family name, Merry Christmas 2011 etc..

What do you reckon?

  1. Looks like you have had a busy Rudolph day this month. Thanks for joining in.

In answer to your question about the the plaque - well it depends where you are selling it. If you are selling it online then you could leave it blank and then personalize before mailing but if you are selling at a table sale or fair then you wouldn't really have the time to do a nice job of personalising so maybe best to put a greeting on pre-sale.
