A mystery!!!

OK so the pattern was based on an existing top, I triple checked it and when I tried it on roughly pinned it fit ok. BUT when all sewn together it was way too tight in at least 2 places! So frustrating!! Now comes an experiment with insterting a strip up the side seams and along the underarm. Fingers crossed! Off to do some unpicking now!
